In keeping with the usual format, the report is divided into three sections.  The first looks at the management of our internal operations and governance mechanisms; the second at our audit streams inclusive of a synopsis of reports produced by our Performance, Information Technology, Economic Assessment and Special Audit units; and the third section provides a synopsis of the key findings of our Assurance-based audits:  Appropriation Accounts, Compliance Audits and Financial Statements. A new addition to the report, included in section two, seeks to track the implementation of recommendations made in the audit reports by MDAs.  This represents a significant step in supporting accountability and transparency within our MDAs and is an inclusion that the Auditor General endeavours to incorporate in the annual report going forward.
