Recruitment is conducted in accordance with manpower planning outlined in the AuGD the Departments Strategic Business (Corporate) and Operational Plans, subjected to the approved Budgets.
- Vacancies may arise in the Department as a result of the following:
- Newly created positions
- Staff attrition (e.g. resignation/retirement)
- Leave of absences (Study Leave or Maternity Leave)
- Special projects
In these cases, different recruitment strategies would be utilized through internal and /or external sourcing of candidates.
